III. Provision of the Website and Creation of Log Files<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing device.<\/p>\n

Storage in log files ensures the functionality of the website and helps us optimize the website and ensure the security of our IT systems. The data is not used for marketing purposes.<\/p>\n

The data is deleted when no longer needed for its purpose. For data collected to provide the website, this is the case at the end of the respective session.

IV. Analytics Tool<\/strong>
Google Analytics:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of our website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles may be created from the processed data.
We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymization activated. This means that the user\u2019s IP address is shortened within EU member states or other contracting states of the EEA before being sent to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other Google data.
The purpose of using Google Analytics is to understand our website visitors better and to improve our offerings. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.<\/p>\n

Users can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting their browser settings. Additionally, users can prevent Google from collecting data generated by the cookie related to their website usage and processing of this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the opt-out page of Google.<\/p>\n

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google to comply with legal data protection requirements.<\/p>\n

V. Social Media Plugins<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

We use social media plugins from various social networks to increase our visibility. This marketing purpose is a legitimate interest and thus the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation lies with the respective provider.<\/p>\n

We use the so-called Shariff method for embedding. Our social buttons only establish direct contact with the social network when you actively click the share button.
This method helps you share content without creating complete surfing profiles. It was initiated by Heise.de for user protection.<\/p>\n

VI. Google Web Fonts<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

We use Google Web Fonts from Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for consistent font display.
When accessing a page, your browser loads the required fonts into its cache.
This requires your browser to connect to Google\u2019s servers, which informs Google of your IP address and that you visited our site.
Using Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a consistent and appealing presentation, which constitutes a legitimate interest under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a default font is used.<\/p>\n

VII. Google Tag Manager<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Google Tag Manager manages website tags via an interface. The tool itself does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It triggers other tags, which may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data.
If you have deactivated cookies, this will also apply to all tracking tags managed via Google Tag Manager.
Google may request your permission to share some product data (e.g., account info) with other Google products. This is voluntary.
